Orson (55) from Tayside

Hello I'm Steve, creator of the Orson persona. Orson is purely fictional and exists on this site to satisfy my own creative 'indulgences' and to provide light entertainment in the fora for other MSE members. And that's where Orson ends and Steve begins!

Music is my greatest passion and I have eclectic tastes dating back to the early days of 'punk'. I am an avid reader especially of auto/biographies; other people's lives fascinate me. I love Art, Gilbert and George being two of my favourite post-war modernists. I like to write and draw, especially caricatures, another one of my creative indulgences!

I have a dry, some say, warped (!) sense of humour but my intention is always to make people laugh which friends say I do.
I am an old-fashioned romantic and do tend to wear my heart on my sleeve at times, but no-one in this world is perfect.

I am a friendly guy with a fairly youngish outlook on life (not your typical 'coffin-dodger 50+ year old) but hold what some may term as 'old fashioned values' but I make no apology for that.

I have already met quite a few people on here, many of whom have become good friends and I am looking forward to meeting more in the future.

I am experiencing less and less interest in MSE recently. I'm not interested in nostalgia, "nudge nudge" pureile sexual innuendo, or constantly bathing in the bitterness of a long dead relationship.

Therefore this section of my profile is open to those with an understanding of their fellow man, tolerance of others. Viewing the future with keen anticipation and an open mind. Rather than allow the images of past misadventures to colour todays judgement.
