Well, what can I say, I'm a 30 year old extreme music fanatic from Doncaster, I'm a very easy going person and one of the least judgemental people you're ever likely to meet, I get on well with most people so chances are so long as you're a decent person at heart and true to yourself we'll get on okay. I'm a little shy at first until I get to know someone, and while it may take a little while to get my trust and friendship once you do you have it for life, so it's worth that little extra effort, eh?

I have numerous interests, I'm extremely passionate about music, black metal and doom are my favourites but I can listen to anything from neofolk to Japanese noise, if it's different, extreme or just plain weird it'll get my attention. I like reading, my favourite writer is H.P Lovecraft, like going out and socialising with friends, playing poker, bowling, cinema, especially horror films but again will watch anything good, walking, pubs, clubs, restaurants, real ales and a number of other things.

I'm not actually working at the moment due to long term illness but I do voluntary work for the charity Mind, I work as a befriender for them, that basically involves befriending people with mental health problems and organising social activities with them. It's something I find easy to do and comes naturally, and it's also extremely rewarding.

Finally I'll give you some insight into my outlook on life. My philosophy on life can be summed up in 4 words, "live and let live", do what you will so long as you respect other people's right to do the same. I am a strong believer in individuality and thinking for yourself, anybody can follow the crowd but if you find your own path in life you'll be better off for it. I despise prejudice and rigid political correctness in equal measure. I'm agnostic, while I don't believe in the Christian God I accept the possibility there may be some form of higher power out there, but until it's proven one way or the other it's no more than a possibility. And while you probably think I think too much I ultimately believe life is for living, you've got one shot at it, make the best of it :)

I'm looking for friends or a long term relationship, ideally people I meet would have at least one or two things in common with me but I don't have any specific demands as such. The main thing I look for in a partner is the same things I look for in a friend, somebody who's a decent person, loyal, who I get on with and who's going to accept me for me. Basically if you've read to the end of my profile and aren't completely put off we'll probably get on well.
