I'm a long time ago divorced 55 year old decent male and a very proud Dad to my 23 year son who attends University in London. I am a genuine person and have a happy personality 'according to some'. I do enjoy commical situations, try to keeping generally informed of news events etc. I was forced to retire early from Local Government in 1997 and I fill my time with voluntary work, meeting my close friends, some gardening and basic diy bits n bobs and like to be helpful. Lots more to tell about me. I love the outdoors and holidays by the sea. I was born and grew up in Ventnor on the Isle of Wight. I have a bike, enjoy walking but not serious hykes!..well, not so far yet! I can drive but don't run a car just now. I don't have a great deal materially, however, that's not everything is it..is it? I do consider that I am lucky in other ways :-)

I would like to meet a nice, genuine, fun, happy, caring lady for a happy friendship that will hopefully grow. An easy going honest person with a cheerful outlook, like myself :-) A nice lady who cares about and values herself, her family and friends.
