As everyone knows, it's not easy to describe yourself, so what am I like? I am looking for friendship - maybe more if it happens. I am a romantic, hoping for a relationship based on mutual affection and trust - loyal, kind hearted and caring. I believe in honesty and hope for it from others. I love animals and nature and most people! Lol I like to think that I have a reasonably good sense of humour - laughter is very therapeutic, and enjoy a good chat about most things, but am no academic. I'm a little on the shy side.(not a lot of confidence with new people) but I'm happy to go out and have fun, or sit in with a glass of wine, with, of course the right company!
I enjoy going to the theatre when I can. I get my exercise walking the dog. I have wonderful twin sons, who are now independent and away doing their own things, but no grandchildren - yet! Travel is a passion - last year I visited one of my sons in California where he works (and again in May for his marriage to a lovely American girl) - but I'm no beach-babe, preferring to explore the place I'm visiting.
Is there such a thing as ideal? It's a case of give and take, I think. Someone who is honest and fun and will take a genuine interest in me, as I would them, if we found we had things in common. But I'd be happy just to make new friends and take it from there.
