Work as a Nurse in an Emergency Department, so have a very demanding and stressful job, and work unsociable hours at times - this has caused problems in past relationships, so I like to be completely honest about it from the start - I only get one full weekend off a month!!! (Get days off mid-week though :-)
I worked very hard to get where I am now - overcame a lot of hurdles just to get through my training, so you might say I'm stubborn - I prefer 'determined' and 'committed' - oh dear - did I say the C word???? If you're having palpitations at the C word, then we're probably not suited!
I've always said I'm not into specific types, but now think that I could be a little more specific and say what I don't like.
I'm not into goths, too much ink, too many piercings, chavs, metallers.
I'm no Angelina Jolie, so I don't expect Bradd Pitt, but would like not to have to cut holes in a paper bag for you to see and breathe - too blunt? sorry, I'd prefer to say I'm honest!
Like I said, I'm no Angelina Jolie - I have imperfections, but then don't we all? I have a few curves, but they're not in random, bizarre places (unless you're used to size 6 women!)
I'm not into casual, no strings fun, so please move one if you are.
I'm also not demanding hearts and flowers, and a ring tomorrow.
I'm looking for someone who I can first and foremost be friends with, and then more. I'm realistic enough to know that I'm likely to have to kiss a few more frogs before I find my Prince, so I'm not expecting love at first sight, and happy ever after with the first person I meet (would be nice, but this is the real world, not fairytale land!)
