I love the outdoors, I'm into rock climbing so I guess you could say that I'm a bit of a dare devil, but nothing too extreme. I'm also into gardening, growing my own veg and DIY but I'm just as comfortable going out on the spur of the moment. My friends would describe me as funny & caring, kind & generous, tall & slim and lucky enough to never be on a diet!! I am the loveliest person you could ever meet, I'm funny and outgoing and enjoy life to the full.
I'm originally from Dorset but now live in Hampshire near Southampton working in the public sector.

I'm looking for a woman who doesn't take things too seriously, who's just as happy at home as well as out and about. Someone who is fun and loyal, honest and genuine, with a great personality.

My hobbies and interests

Cooking	I enjoy cooking especially if I'm cooking something that I've grown in my garden cos is tastes so much better. I like any food really, not fussy at all, easily pleased I guess. My favorite recipes are usually from a Jamie Oliver book.
Shopping	Shopping is not really a favorite pastime for me, I'll go if I have to! I think its because food shopping takes so long and clothes shopping usually involves getting changed a couple of times, however I'll never say no to a visit to John Lewis!
DIY	I love DIY. I'll have a go at anything, I've done most of the improvements on my home myself. I find DIY therapeutic in a strange way. If you need a tool for the job I've probably got it!
Housework	Housework - now I guess I am house proud but I don't do it religiously every week, if it needs doing then I'll do it. I'd never describe myself as a slob, but there's always something better to do. I'm a minimalist so when it does need doing it never takes long!
Dining out	I love dining out, my favorite food would have to be Indian as its spicy, but I'm happy to try anything. I guess Italian is also good along with British food, nothing like a good steak or a roast dinner!!
Movies	I can't remember the last time I went to the cinema. I usually wait until the film comes on TV I guess. If I do go them I'm a drama and romcom girl.
Theatre	I love the theatre. The most recent things I've seen are Blood Brothers and Strictly Come Dancing. Anything from Andrew Lloyd Webber is also a good bet.
Music	I listen to music everyday without fail. I love pop and R&B. 80's music is definitely my thing but at the moment I'm listening to Kylie.
Gigs	Not really a gig goer but that's only because I work shifts and its really difficult to fit them in, but never say never.
Pubs	I like going to the pub and will usually have a glass of wine or a spirit, not into lager at all though. I prefer a traditional pub with atmosphere
Clubbing	Clubbing days are almost behind me now but I still go with the girls when there's a night out to be had!
Newspapers and magazines	I read a paper once a week and that's about it.
Books	I'm not a reader at all because I can't sit still long enough, I'm more of an active girl than a sit down and read girl.
TV	I like watching TV, my usual programs are American drama's. At the moment I'm watching Southlands, Private Practice, Greys Anatomy, Brothers & Sisters etc. I also like watching Cutting Edge documentary's.
Watching sport	I like watching sport but I can take it or leave it really, its not an addiction for me. I'll usually be watching whatever's on if I'm free.
Playing sport	I do indoor rock climbing and I'm just getting into kayaking, I'm not really into the gym.
Hobbies	I love gardening, growing my own veg, walking and hiking - anything outdoors really.

My hopes and dreams

In ten years I see myself	This is a difficult question. I would like to hope that I have moved to a house in the country with the love of my life! I've just got to meet them first.
Who would I invite to a dinner party?	Kylie Jamie Oliver ...and the person I meet through this site!
My ideal date	My ideal date would be a walking and talking in the countryside followed by dinner at the pub, something simple and easy.
What would I never, ever give up?	There's nothing that I can think of at the moment
If I had to give a speech on a subject I was passionate about ...	I guess it would be about the environment and recycling.
If I could visit anywhere in the world at any time in history	I would love to live in America as I love going on holiday there. There are so many interesting places to visit that I don't think I could ever fit them in so living in America would give me a head start.
If I had a million pounds to give to charity	I would give my money to a cancer charity as some close friends who have suffered from cancer so money to help fight it would be great.
