I'm also a qualified referee of the Rugby Football Union(RFU), was an Instructor in Martial Arts in the 90's, and spare my time voluntarily to a few charitable organisations and have served in various committees over the years and still do.

My hobbies and interests

Cooking	Occasional cook, but do not like to spend much time in the kitchen. You get lots of things you can stick in the oven these days. Favourite dishes are Chinese.
Shopping	Do like shopping but not a shopaholic. Like to wear trendy clothes, and I'm a GAP man. M&S is my next choice.
DIY	Used to be a Retail Manager for Britain's second largest DIY Retailer. Enough said.
Housework	Not a total slob, but not totally addictive to getting rid of every speck of dust either. My flat I would say is pretty neat and tidy.
Dining out	Occasionally, but generally like to stay in.
Movies	Not many good movies come out these days, but when they do, I'd like to go and see them. Many films over the years, but these ones stick out: Dr Zhivago, Love Story, Thomas Crown affair, The Champ, Somewhere in time, dances with wolves, Gladiator, The last Samurai, Da Vinci code, Save the last dance, Down to you.
Theatre	Occasionally. Have seen Mamma Mia and King and I, which were good. Like Museums, Art Galleries, Historical Buildings/sites etc.
Music	Very wide scope. Depends on the mood I'm in. Generally into Easy Listening, Pop, Country, Classical. I'm beginning to acquire a taste for Country/Pop genre as of late. Shania Twain and Lee Ann Womack are two that I like.
Gigs	Very rarely.
Pubs	Countryside pubs are ok.
Clubbing	Clubbing days are behind me , although I occasionally join the boys at the Rugby Club to go clubbing.
Newspapers and magazines	occasionally.
Books	Not much of a book worm. Les Miserables, The Way it is, Many Lives Many Masters, Da Vinci code
TV	Don't get much time to watch TV. News, Sport(Rugby, Cricket, Boxing, Olympics) Documentaries(Nature, History), Comedy, Movies. BBC documentaries are best as always. I liked Outnumbered.
Watching sport	Rugby, Cricket, Boxing. International Football, Olympics.
Playing sport	I play Rugby for a club in the outskirts of London and also used to be an Instructor in Martial Arts. I'm also a qualified referee of the Rugby Football Union(RFU).
Hobbies	Stamp collecting, Antique furniture/Antiquarian books, I have a passion for History so Historical sites/cities, Scenic Places or anywhere there are trees.

My hopes and dreams

In ten years I see myself	Right now, haven't thought about it yet. Just living for the moment.
Who would I invite to a dinner party?	Leonardo Da Vinci, Nelson Mandela and I 'd introduce you(3rd person) to them. I'll see if I could get Bill Clinton in as well(as he is Mandela's friend), but not to worry I'll keep him well away from you. ;-)
My ideal date	A quiet candle lit dinner is fine by me. All that matters is that the person sitting opposite me is willing to step into my life for good and I feel the same way too.
What would I never, ever give up?	Don't like to hold onto things. That's being greedy and selfish.(I'm a Buddhist remember?)
If I had to give a speech on a subject I was passionate about ...	Right now, I feel passionate about the work I do, but I don't wanna give a speech about that.
If I could visit anywhere in the world at any time in history	Would love to meet the great characters of the past such as Jesus, The Buddha, Lincoln, Shakespeare, Henry VIII, Alexander, Columbus, Da Vinci, etc.
If I had a million pounds to give to charity	A charity that helps people see again(Restoring eyesight).
My "and finally" section ...	I have a very good sense of humour, and I'm not kidding.
