I came in here today thinking I should do something about that clever-clever rubbish in my profile.... but I've just read it, and I quite like it now.... so it's staying for a while

What am I like? If I told you honestly, would you be interested in me? But if I told you dishonestly, why would you be interested in me?
Slightly overweight, but trying to see if the gym and the bicycle will do any good. Trouble is, sometimes promising myself fish and chips afterwards is the only way to get me to the gym.
What do I do? Spend all day working with this computer, then sit here after work trying to meet people when I should be... out meeting people.
What's my background? Grammar school know-it all? I think that sums it up :-)
Tell the world about myself? Hey aren't these MSE people getting just a TAD vainglorious?

At this very moment - I'm not looking for much, some good alternatives to the work and TV would be a good start ( actually anyone got a hammer ? )
Anyone want to make up a quiz team, a book club, something, ?anything?

OK - I've been cajoled into admitting that I'm officially free and single. Well not free maybe, but relatively cheap. So don't all rush at once.

Mostly at the moment I think I'm looking for friends. Never have known how to be friends with blokes, but could give it a try. Love getting to know women, but bit picky about calling someone a friend unless I'm prepared to get up in the middle of the night and drive them where they need to go, even if I'd rather not be there.
