My hobbies and interests

Cooking	I will have a go at anything...I came from a big family so had to cook for a few from 13 yrs old. My favourate is chicken followed by fish. I love healthy eating salads, pasta's,fresh fruit and veg and rice meals but throw in the odd steak and ale pie (home made),
Shopping	I like shopping and have to have a bit to do with it for my job but I love to grab a bargain in the sales.
DIY	I am fine with DIY, don't think there is much I can't do maybe large area's platering would be hard but I laid my own concrete drive for the garage and panelled the stairs among other things plus it took my ex six years to do the kitchen and he never finished it, when he left I did it in 4 hours (on and off) .
Housework	I do ALL of the decorating in the house painting too. I make soft furnishings cushions curtains etc... I can knit by hand and machine (I used to design knitware)
Dining out	I like simple food more than fancy stuff, I like English food best but like to try others I am not a spicey food lover or strong curry (korma's ok)
Movies	I love the movies except for all of the noise from people who oly go there to eat. EAT BEFORE YOU GO. I like thrillers, who dun it's and Ghost stories and the odd sloppy/weepy.
Theatre	Can't remember the name of the last one I saw it's a while ago but I really enjoyed it.
Music	I LOVE MUSIC any music country, rock but mostly pop. Opera (some), classical (Some). I love Daren Hayze, Westlife "well you gotta really" and most 70s stuff love not too keen on rap. Love Lady GaGa, Kings of Leon, James Morrison and Michael Buble.
Gigs	I went to see Brian Adam's, it was pouring down got soaked loved every minute of it. I like any live music Stadium, pub or singing in the living room.
Pubs	Don't get out a lot and don't really like waiting 30 mins for a drink in a crowded pub so quieter place is fine.
Clubbing	I have not been to a night club for years arn't I too old?
Newspapers and magazines	Don't read newspapers have not yet found an honest one. Don't mind a gossip mag on the stars coz it's about as near as I will ever get..
Books	I am reading David Esex's autobiography at the moment...
TV	Don't watch a lot of telly mainly House, numbers, Quiz programs and Scrubs Oh and my new hubby (when I meet him) Simon Baker in either the Mentalist or Guardian. I might be a bit old for him though....lol
Watching sport	No sport.... Ice skating if I have to Footy if you have to but not much else that's why there is a telly in every room.
Playing sport	Don't really get time to play sport. I used to play netball and tennis.
Hobbies	I like not love computers, Il ove not like decorating. I love to be taken out for a drive in the rain or sun. I like to buy nice little gifts for my grandkids....

My hopes and dreams

In ten years I see myself	I would like to be living out of this god forsaken country..
Who would I invite to a dinner party?	Nostrodamus, John Lennon. My dear departed mother, the wisest woman I have ever met.
My ideal date	Someone who does not instantly want sex personal detail like bust size. most guys are only interested in arm candy. I HAVE A BRAIN.
What would I never, ever give up?	Chocolate. It has been the only thing that has been constantly nice to me.
If I had to give a speech on a subject I was passionate about ...	Being fair, and listening to others.
If I could visit anywhere in the world at any time in history	I would make sure Guy Fawkes did a good job instead of gettin caught.
If I had a million pounds to give to charity	The hungry in any country we should all be able to feed each other.
