Muffin    (37) from East Sussex 

I teach English to Foreign Language Students, love Good home cooked food, am a vegetarian, have been for all my life and both my children are. I have had M.E for four years but that doesn't hold me back.... I have a cat called Molly who has a tail that looks like it's been dipped in the paint pot. I love writing stories, poems, watching and listening to plays at the theatre, sculpture, art galleries, love all the museums in London, eating out, meeting new people, i like rainy days with a box of old photographs...playing with the kids...second hand shops and buying old dusty books...i like photography, being by the sea, i love St. Ives and the Channel Islands. I love Morse and watching Midsummer Murders...and the Grumpy old women and men series, Gina Yashere makes me laugh, Lee Evans and Lenny Henry when he impersonates his mum! I love space and psychology as i am doing a masters degree with The Open University. I love all kinds of music, classic...to Pink or Norah Jones...Corrine Bailey Rae...to African music or Jazz, depends on my mood. I admire Nelson Mandela and Maya Angelou...and Humphrey Bogart in Casablanca....love old musicals like High Society..i love how graceful women were then!...
....i suppose i am a dreamer...i like thinking about the bigger things in life... My friends are one of the most important things in my life...

One final thought...i hate Barbie Dolls. 

Would love to chat about anything, current affairs, books, about space ...what's going on out in the universe...exploding nebulas and shooting stars...black holes and dark matter! Movies..children.......or maybe you throw things together in the kitchen..chopping herbs or stirring up a curry, hot soups and pasta sauces. Would love to chat about Italy, as i lived there for three years...all things Italian are wonderful...Maybe you are an Open University student toiling away at your TMA's, i know what you go through! Or maybe you are a budding J K Rowling, you write poems or stories, so do i, would love to share and talk books and plays. I love thinking about how the future will be, technology and humanity. Would love to talk to people who have lived in other countries...

Oh yes...and if you can tell me what you think will happen in the future...for example i like to think of what's the next thing...after the internet?...how about a head net...where all of our heads are connected and we send thought mail instead of email...of course we would have to descend a bit in consciousness to have some privacy!...a bit whacky?...why not?!
