Right me. I`m a widower of over Three years. live on my own. Had a rough ride over the last 15 yrs as my wife was disabled. Had a lot of sad times but now the past is behind me and I`m enjoying life again.

So what am I up to?

Well Ive done a bit of traveling. Far East, America, and quite a few destinations in Europe. I have done some long weekends away taking advantage of the cheap flights.

What else have I been up to. Went to see Swan Lake, Phantom of the opera, a play at the Octagon in Bolton, a Billy Shakespeare show in Stratford.and Carmen in Blackpool. I do like the Theatre.
Also likes my music. went to see Meatloaf, Kyle and the Pouges live concerts. Just been to a Hollies concert and have tickets for U2 in August.

I have been on walking weekends with groups off this site and plan to do loads more. I do enjoy these days out and have met some great people.

I like going out for meals, and the pub now and again specially if there`s a quiz nite or live music

I don't have many friends or Family and the one`s I have are mostly married, Ive spent a long time caring for family, and now its my time.

So I`m trying things Ive wanted to do but didn't have the opportunity. I did scuba diving for many years and love water sports, would like to try out yachting and canoeing.

I do like doing things Ive not done before and going places Ive not been to, weather it be a stroll around a city a walk along the beach, museum, art gallery or some stately home.

I hope this gives you a bit of an insight to what I`m about, and things I like doing.
