OK, so - I'm down-to-earth, practical, friendly, warm, considerate, etc, etc

I work in IT and data analysis, and am recognised by all my workmates as "the spreadsheet bloke" (when they're being polite).

I love my garden, and am busy fixing up the house as I go.

I like nothing better than being able to relax in the garden with a cold drink, warm company, and a cold wet nose (just to explain - that's the dog!)

As a person, I'm not very chatty, as I like to have time to think through any reply (so I probably come across better on email than in person!). I'm diplomatic, rather than direct; non-argumentative; very laid-back; supportive.

Someone who can ask what I did at work, and not yawn after the first ten seconds of my reply - eg:

"Today, I created an index/match formula within an offset nested-if array"

OK - you're allowed to yawn after twelve seconds

Seriously though, I'm not looking for any "type" of person in particular, so long as you're open, honest and friendly!

Primarily I'm here to make friends - some online, some offline - maybe more in the future if we hit it off.
