I'm friendly, kind and caring. I'm 5 feet eight and size 12 and am happiest in jeans (but I do scrub up well). Hair colour is variable as I have an adventurous hairdresser, currently light brown with burgundy streaks, blue-grey eyes. My hobbies are reading (mainly crime novels and science fiction), gardening, yoga and driving my classic sports car. I also like music-early, classic, rock, metal(pretty much everything except country and western), theatre, Thai food. I have cats, but am not very fond of dogs.
I work as a science technician but hope to retire in 5 years and spend time on the other interests I'm neglecting- art, travel and Tai Chi for a start, and lots of walks and museum visits. I'm educated to Masters degree level but I've never been a snob, firmly working class background from mining stock, lots of common sense and proud of it.

I'm looking for friends of both sexes hopefully with similar interests. I like classic and vintage cars and would love to meet somebody who shares that interest. A long term romantic relationship would be nice but not essential.
