Tall, medium build, originally trained as Art Teacher followed by employment in Civil Service, Printing and Graphic Design and last 10 years in Rail Industry. Interests include travel, painting, photography, classic cars, aircraft and vintage transport, museums, music and reading. No great wealth or status but honest and self sufficient with an off beat sense of humour and romantic nature. Recently retired and after ending a 5 year relationship hoping to find new direction in life starting with good friendship ... the rest is just "wait and see", ... making the most of fine weather this year with days out and short tours of UK occasionally accompanied by my two young grandchildren. On sunny summer days I can be found messing about on the River Avon in Gloucestershire where I have a permanent mooring for my old 3/4 berth river cruiser. I hope to meet an honest, intelligent and attractive lady with GSOH (Good Sense of Hearing!!!) for friendship and travelling companion ... summer days out, cruising up the river and motoring through country lanes will do for starters!!
