Generally a happy sort of person, who is easy to get on with. Purdey ( a cat) will vouch for me in that respect. I am honest and trustworthy Now retired.Listening to music is important to me and I enjoy a wide range from Dylan to Mahler, through Beautiful South to Verdi and Counting Crows.I live alone now as my sons are grown and doing their own things My main interests have been knocking about and then decorating my house, classic cars and motorbikes. I understand that old cars & motorbikes are not to everyones taste so I don't make a big issue of them. I have recently got into boating and that takes up a bit of my time now.I have a long time interest in Art History and enjoy museums and Art galleries and motorbike racing.
I have been told I haven't got so much of a sense of humour as a sense of the ridiculous. But then at 5ft tall that is sometimes necessary. I enjoy days out, having a quiet drink and a good meal somewhere and chatting about all sorts of silly things. I am not into clubbing or dancing but I do enjoy the theatre and concerts.

People who are happy with themselves and hopefully would share at least in some of my interests and who have things they enjoy doing that maybe I could share, as a new experience.
