Hiya!
I work part time as a Staff nurse. I am 41, 5ft 8, blonde hair and blue eyes.I have been single for 6 yrs and have been bringing up my 2 children who are now teenagers.I have decided that now is the time to concentrate more on myself and get out and have some fun and see what life is about before the Zimmer frame beckons! LOL
I enjoy good conversation, good food,eating out and socialising, and go to the gym to compensate! I also enjoy cooking when I have the time. I love music, I have anything from Rihanna, to Megadeath on my MP3 at the moment. I love reading, usually have a few books on the go, mainly non fiction and autobiographies, but I do enjoy Patricia Cornwell books.I have an interest in aromatherapy and alternative therapies
I would describe myself as caring, loyal, affectionate and honest. I feel that I can be shy at first, but my friends who have known me for some time would not describe me as shy! I have a good sense of humour, which leans towards the dry side.
I am looking for friends to show me that there is more to life than the 9 to 5 and lurching from school run to school run via another load of laundry! (Please tell me there is more to life than this! LOL) I have recently become more confidant in myself and I have started this journey already. I have recently started to learn Salsa dancing , unfortunately at the moment I have the coordination and grace of a spider on rollerblades, but I will perservere! I hoping to start an Open university course later in the year, possibly psychology.
