No matter what happens in life laughter has to be part of it! I'm very open and honest - affectionate, passionate, caring, thoughtful. I have a busy life but having someone to share it with would enhance it. I am open to almost any new experience in life. I prefer to be outdoors than indoors. I love being by the coast and being surrounded by mountains. I enjoy most normal things - theatre, cinema, travel, music, Yoga, good conversation, spending weekends at my friends (who live all over England), walks, etc..

Cooking	Yes I enjoy cooking. I do not have any favourite styles and I eat fish! My only reason for not eating meat is that I simply can't stand the taste of it.
Shopping	There aren't many ladies who do not enjoy shopping!
DIY	Erm.....no. Good at painting though.
Housework	Yes, I'm fairly houseproud.
Dining out	Love eating out. I like foods from all around the world - just not too hot.
Movies	I go to the cinema a couple of times a month. I like most.....except violent or sexual movies.
Theatre	Also like theatre - loved 'Blood Brothers,' 'Lion King' and 'Stones in his Pocket.'
Music	I enjoy all music except country and western and brass bands.
Gigs	Even though I've not been for some time but I do enjoy jazz sessions.
Pubs	I don't go to bars often and I do enjoy a good glass or red or white wine.
Clubbing	Erm.....no!
Newspapers and magazines	I read The Times weekdays....never seem to have time at weekends to read a paper.
Books	I read factual books, I'm not into fiction.
TV	I do not like soaps. I enjoy a good documentary or movie.
Watching sport	No!
Playing sport	No!
Hobbies	I belong to my local walking group and enjoy a good walk most weekends (ranging from 5 to 12 miles.) Our group has an interesting social calender too.

My hopes and dreams

In ten years I see myself	Retired & with good health.
Who would I invite to a dinner party?	Jack Vettriano, Gandhi and my Mum.
My ideal date	A walk along the coast or a canal followed by a meal.
What would I never, ever give up?	Chocolate!
If I had to give a speech on a subject I was passionate about ...	I would not be comfortable giving a speech.
If I could visit anywhere in the world at any time in history	Canada, Russia - too many to mention. A trip taking in the great wonders of the world.
If I had a million pounds to give to charity	Heart Foundation or IGA
