Single guy aged 39 and counting down to the big 40 at the beginning of 2009 with a sense of deja vu from 10 years ago.

When I was approaching 30 I said to myself I don't want to be single on my 30th, but ended up being so. Here I am now 10 years and a few near misses later saying the same thing about my 40th.

I'm hoping my luck will change over the next 8 months or so and I find that special person.

A bit about me. I live and work in Mansfield and have a great 15 year old daughter I see every other weekend.

I am an easy going type of person and can usually get on with most people.

As my daughter lives near the coast I do go there quite regularly. I enjoy nights out at the pub, cinema, restaurants and have even been known to go the theatre. I also love quiet nights in with good company and a nice bottle of wine.

Block
