Cooking	I am capable of sustaining myself, although it may get pretty boring at times. I do a mean spaghetti and tomato and cheese bake with pasta.
Shopping	Don't mind shopping, especially for that special person.
DIY	Yup, done my share of DIY, got the T-shirt -shelves are still on the wall!
Housework	Has to be done -do my best, not a slob!
Dining out	Enjoy eating out, love Italian food and Indian food, but willing to experiment.
Movies	Like some films, not those containing gratuitous violence.
Theatre	Love culture, especially theatre, and take part in amdram productions. I saw Taming of the Shrew at Stratford and enjoyed it very much, meeting the cast afterwards in the local.
Music	Enjoy most kinds of music, except country and western (sorry). I like modern jazz, classical, some rock, some blues (eg.John Lee Hooker/Van Morrison)
Gigs	Don't like loud venues, like live music (eg Jazz)
Pubs	I indulge in the pint at the local, but not to excess (not possible if you are a responsible driver) -I like wine with a good meal.
Clubbing	Been there, got everything...
Newspapers and magazines	I vary with papers, not affiliated to any political persuasion -but do like to keep up with current affairs.
Books	Books are important -but it's the time-factor too. I like the Titus Trilogy by Mervyn Peake, but books on travel (Bryson/Newby), books on Italy, and humourous books are also good.
TV	Don't watch much Television -could be because I have such a terrible picture!
Watching sport	Like watching some sport, a GOOD football or rugby match, tennis etc
Playing sport	swimming
Hobbies	love photography, walking, writing, drama and all things Italian

My hopes and dreams
