I like this:

A well known speaker started off a seminar by holding up a £20 note. In a room of 200 she asked: "Who would like this £20?" Hands started going up. She said "I am going to give this £20 to one of you but first, let me do this." She proceeded to crumple the note up. She then asked, "Who still wants this?" Every hand remained up in the air. "Well" she said, "what if I do this?" She dropped it on the ground and started to grind down on it with her shoe. She then picked it up, now crumpled and dirty. "Now who wants it?" Still the same hands went up in the air. "My friends, you have all learned a valuable lesson. No matter what I did to the money you still wanted it because it did not lose it's intrinsic value, it is STILL worth £20. Many times in our lives we are dropped, crumpled and ground into the floor by the circumstances that come our way. We feel as though we are worthless. However, no matter what happens (or may happen) you will never lose your true value. Crumpled or crispy clean - you are priceless and beyond value. Let that shine through your life always.




 

I'm looking for: According to the formula my ideal match would be 29 or 30. Nah, don't think so!

My preferred playmate will be just as enticed (maybe more so) by the idea of a night in strumming and singing as she would be by the ubiquitous dvd/sofa/red axis. I prefer a really nice bourbon myself though.

On the subject of drinking: If your night out revolves around the bar, if 'having a good time' means being falling over drunk for you then we don't have any meaningful future.

People who genuinely know how to enjoy themselves (e.g. dancing, chatting, laughing and joking) are off to a good start.

BTW: although I have 'Trusted Member' status, I no longer have Essentials so peeks/hugs etc. will remain your little secret unless you tell me about them or I subscribe again.
