My hobbies and interests

Cooking	yes! love it, from baking to indian food i have a kitchen rammed with all manner of spices and equipment!
Shopping	i'm a commando shopper, need something, in to get it, and out.. cant think of anything worse than browsing.. closest i get to that is looking it up on the internet to reduce time spent in shops!
DIY	rubbish....although i did put up a shelf that's still on the wall in the kitchen.. i'm very proud
Housework	necessary evil, drives me bonkers if i cant find anything, so i hae to keep fairly tidy, however if i could have a magic person to do it for me, i would be totally ok with that!
Dining out	Love to, try most things although not fond of the sushi i have tried so far, i love tapas, means a big get together with friends, sangria and sharing dishes, perfect!
Movies	It does mean that i have to stay still for a long time, i prefer to wait until the DVD comes out and i can get up and put the kettle on..
Theatre	love it, from Opera, to Rocky Horror, Wicked to Swan Lake, i love to see a show..
Music	my ipod is a collection of confusing genres, i like a bit of everything
Gigs	I do like the odd gig, i have friends in bands so have often traipsed around local pubs, i prefer that atmosphere than stadium affairs, not intimate enough for me
Pubs	nice pub is good, the occasional bar, but my clubbing days are over unless dragged there when under the influence.. prefer cooking and wine with friends nowadays..
Clubbing	only to fulfill hen night duties, it gives me to scary a perspective on my age now!
Newspapers and magazines	rarely, i'm an online news junkie
Books	love books, cant part with them though and sometimes fear for the safety of my study floor..now have a kindle, which is helping with that but i do miss the pages of a well loved book.. currently exhausting Stephen Fry's efforts, and thoroughly enjoying it!
TV	i like the burble in the background while im doing other things, i do like the housey programs..
Watching sport	i do like rugby, not sure that's got much to do with the sport though!
Playing sport	Not really, i'm a walker, fitness class type of girl
Hobbies	currently making a mirror tile mosaic for the garden wall.. keeps me out of mischief!

If I had to give a speech on a subject I was passionate about ...	Kindness and its importance in society
If I could visit anywhere in the world at any time in history	The Pitcairn Islands, My Dad went there when he was in his 20's and it's almost impossible to get leave to enter the island, intrigues me
If I had a million pounds to give to charity	goodness, so many, i'd have to split it i think, cancer research, help for heros and child protection i think
