Windswept and interesting, romantic, intelligent, a bit fey, ok, a lot fey, smiley and somewhat soppy. Being retired, I have time for the things I like, such as music-classical and folk, art-traditional and pretty, food-Indian and chocolate cake, bread and ice-cream. (My chocolate cake, along with my cheese scones are world famous, well, almost). I love walks on beaches, old castles, dark green woods, the song of the robin, books and more books and history, especially about how ordinary people lived in days of old, eg, if you were a serf, how did you get your food? My happiest interest though, is awaiting my soulmate.  

It would be nice to find a man who has about him a bit of the eco warrior, and maybe a bit of an Oxford don, sort of wise with spirit, someone poetic possibly, musical, loving words, birdsong, mountains, someone, I suppose, a bit like myself, kind, funny, interested in people and knowing the meaning of the word tenderness.
