Hi. I'm Martin. A friend recommended this site to me but as I'm very cynical about internet dating these days I can't say I'm expecting much! So why am I here you may be asking? Well I'm looking for "the one"- yes I know it's a cliche but I am. Tired of going to the pub and other social events as a single when everyone else is paired up.
I'll try and describe myself a bit but I'm my own worst critic at times! I consider myself bright and funny. I'm a very tactile person and think nothing of public shows of affection. I'm honest and loyal (haha I sound like a dog!). I enjoy lots of things- you know, all the "normal" stuff people do.

What am I looking for? That's a toughie because although I do kind of have a type, if I find something attractive it doesn't matter. What is important to me is a good personality and sense of humour. Someone who can have a serious conversation yet talk absolute nonsense another time. Someone who can pick me up when I'm down or will listen when I need to offload something. Obviously that would be reciprocated.
