I am an independant girl, who lives alone beside the sea. I am a nurse so work very weird shifts which makes it hard to meet people. To describe myself .... argh ! Well I think i am reasonably attractive, curvy woman. I have quite an easygoing attitude and believe in live and let live. I can be a little shy to begin with but when I relax I have a witty sense of humour and enjoy a bit of banter. I am deeply loyal to my friends and family.

I am looking to meet men in this area who, like me finds it hard to meet people either due to work or personal circumstances. Making new friends would be great and if a relationship happened then that would be great. I am looking for someone who is genuine and honest. I really don't want anybody who is out for a fling or another notch on their bedpost.

My hobbies and interests

Cooking	I do enjoy cooking but dont really indulge cos being on my own I hate washing up !! When I do cook it's anything from a roast to stir fries. I am extremely talented with a microwave thou !
Shopping	I believe shopping is a solo sport ! I hate having anyone with me as I Usually know what I am looking for before I go and where to get it !
DIY	I am very handy at DIY, my old Dad taught me everything I know !! Good and bad !!
Housework	I don't live in a palace, it's home, but I do like it fairly tidy. I do enjoy giving it a good once over especially when something is on my mind, thats when my Monica complex kicks in !
Dining out	Me and my mates from work do like to eat out when we meet up. Not fussy really where we go so long as we don't have to do the dishes !
Movies	I am a chick flic girl ! Sorry ! But I do also like a good thriller or adventure. I love anything that makes me laugh. I will always love the classics of my era like dirty dancing, pretty woman and breakfast club, but also have loved the Harry potters and Lord of the Rings flics. I also have a love any Carry Grant and Jimmy Stewart movies
Theatre	The theatre is great but i don't go often enough, I would to go see the new production of Priscilla Queen of the Desert !
Music	My taste in music is broad to say the least !! In my CD collection there is everything from Kings of Leon to Johan Sebastian Strauss !! However i hate thumpybumpy dance music !
Gigs	I enjoy going to gigs but not festivals as the great unwashed scare me !
Pubs	Me and the girls from work often enjoy a wee nite out at the pub but I really can't stand nightclubs and the like.

Books	I don't read as much as i should . I enjoy a book that can take me away into the world of the story ! I read a lot of fantasy fiction, ( celtic mythology, wizards and magic etc ) and some Scottish authors eg Christopher Brookmyer).
TV	My Fav TV progs are Mock the week, ER, Greys anatomy, Torchwood, Dr Who, Battlestar gallactica and Fringe.
Watching sport	Loooove watching Scotland and New Zealand play rugby !! Also home games for Edinburgh. My dad and I love to bug Mum and watch F1 on sunday avo !
Playing sport	erm nope !
Hobbies	Not really got any weird past times or hobbies unless you class sitting on the beach watching the world go by !

My hopes and dreams

In ten years I see myself	Happy and content with my lot, whatever that is !!

My ideal date	Who or what !! I dunno really guess I'll be boring and suggest dinner then a walk along the sea front/beach, getting to know each other.
What would I never, ever give up?	My family and pets cos they mean the world to me. When everything else is gone they are always in my heart .
If I had to give a speech on a subject I was passionate about ...	Scotland
If I could visit anywhere in the world at any time in history	I have so many times in history I would like to explore, the crusaids, the medieval times (I lilke the dresses ! ), the days of bonnie Prince charlie and the early 2nd world war times.
If I had a million pounds to give to charity	I would give it to an animal or childrens charity.
