madabout (61) from East Sussex

5'8 female with cropped silver hair and blue eyes, divorced with three sons who have all 'flown the nest' and making their own way in life.
I work in the medical profession and love my job. Though I try to work to live, rather than live to work ( work can take over sometimes !!)
I'm one of five siblings, mum from the East End and dad from Liverpool. Had a reasonably happy childhood, spent a year abroad as a family when I was approx 6yrs old (a few distant memories). School was OK then went on to study and qualify in my chosen profession. Married, children, divorce. Now working again full time and loving it.
Have a good network of friends, some a distance away but then I can enjoy weekends visiting.
Enjoy all the usual things in life especially theatre, art exhibitions, splashing in puddles, walks along the beach, glass of red wine and a good book.

What am I looking for ? That's a question !! I guess I'm looking for a good friend, someone trustworthy, someone who can laugh at himself and not be too serious, someone who accepts me for who I am .....all the usual that I guess we all look for....that special person who makes you feel alive.
