I am a violin restorer and live in Stoke-on-Trent but come from Cumbria. I love my work but have lots of other interests. I'm doing an OU degree in English Literature, not because i want a change in career, just because i enjoy reading and it introduces me to things i wouldn't normally come across. I like drawing and visiting Art galleries. I play viola in a local orchestra but outside of that i don't listen to much classical music. I'll listen to pretty much anything thats good but i don't like cheesy dance music. I like going to see live bands. Am a bit of a goth but mainly for practical reasons. I don't have the time or inclination to separate my colours! I also play a bit of folk fiddle but don't get much opportunity to play with other people. 

I want to meet anyone in my area to go to gigs/theatre/galleries with. I'm not looking for a relationship at all. Just looking for friends but no racists or bigots. Open-minded people only.
