Purpose of existence is to make oneself better than one is ...... a hot woman is even better!!
Well I am 6' 1", 14.5 stone - is that slim, medium or just pear shaped? - have been divorced for some 12 years, brought up my three daughters who are now in their late 20s - I have traveled extensively; live off the Ridgway in Wimbledon; play tennis; love museums/galleries etc & scoot to them all on my wasp aka a Vespa! am pretty bright & amusing; have failed to find my soul mate in spite of lots of attempts or do I mean relationships but still hope that the one person is out there, preferably round the corner!!
I am absolutely NOT looking for endless dates & you may have noticed this is written to discourage most browsers - only the handful whom will think ----mmmmmm this is different & for me will bother to persevere.
BTW I accept that it is normally the woman who makes up her mind on these matters & the man either goes along with it or not - prosaic but very true in my humble opine.
Cherish & be cherished - mmmmm that sounds good to this Old Stoic.
As an aside - the purpose of life - simple really - to break the genetic imprint that says "big fish eat smaller fish, smaller fish eat even smaller fish & so on down the food chain" - the antidote is the Golden Rule.

Well as a start if my intro at the top did not make you laugh, we are probably not going to be frightfully compatible.
One of my old friends said to me recently - "Why don't you try going out with a woman who does not start EVERY sentence with the word - I."
If you do not like galleries, museums, theater, books, food, cooking, high octane banter, children, animals, stream of consciousness expressions just for starters, never mind going on the back of my scooter, well please have a happy life but we might not hit if off!
A force of nature, a giver not a taker, kind, understanding, not too materialistic, intelligent & well educated; understands that one needs to be fundamentally happy with the way the other person is; not jumping from one branch only when another one is there; likes to be intellectually challenged; needs me & needs to be needed - big difference from wants - a need is primal, a want is not!
It is very attractive for a woman to give a signal of interest, NOT at all unfeminine or forward but actually the way the world turns.
BTW no piccie, no speakie - you would not hide behind the loo door at a party, pin a note on the door & hope for the best? Like it or not men are visual. For what it is worth most of my relationships have been with friends of friends & those 10 to 20 years younger - just the way of the world I guess but it could just as easily be someone my age.
To survive with me you probably need to be a little off the wall, eccentric, quirky even or maybe just a walking oxymoron.
If you exist - I shall hold my breath - there are only a few of you currently hidden somewhere .........
Oh & if you are still reading this, relationships are, one is led to believe, about being a "team" which requires mutual respect, inter & co dependence spiced with independence rather than blathering on about needing space! If you want space stay single & have friends & gratuitous sex!!
