Very independent. While I have lived with flatmates / girlfriends in the past, I'm far happier living alone. And to be perfectly honest, I'm happier solo than as part of a "deep & meaningful" relationship.
Lots of interests; I enjoy travelling, especially to Belgium and the Netherlands (I speak reasonable Dutch, which makes it easier). I cycle a lot - several thousand miles a year round the Suffolk countryside, which keeps me fit and means I've got plenty of stamina from the long rides. Probably spend too much time online, but then as I design websites that's hardly surprising.
Love music, especially black music styles such as jazz, soul, blues, funk, etc.
I'm looking for a special friend to share some social time with (going to pubs, concerts, etc), then a bit of fun afterwards (or even before!) I suppose I'd describe her as more than just a mate but not quite a girlfriend.
Needs to be someone with some personality and a three-digit IQ - a beautiful woman who's thick or boring to be with holds no interest for me whatsoever. A sense of humour is essential (you'd never put up with me otherwise).
I should point out that I AM single, not a married man looking for a "bit on the side".
