My hobbies and interests

Cooking	Cooking, Yeh, Apprenticed chef, love Indian food, and entertaining friends. Just love food, Hey BUT I do stay slim
Shopping	I hate trawling around shops with no purpose. My son would tell you - I zoom in and out of supermarkets and do a weeks shopping in less than 45 mins.
DIY	Fairly uselful- I know how to change a fuse and a light bulb!
Housework	prefer to be a slob,but hate living in a pit! so I do do a bit
Dining out	I love to eat out, but am too critical of the chef and tend to be a bit outspoken, professional perfection maybe!!
Movies	Almost anything except american comic book - you know hwhat I mean
Theatre	I tend to avoid = not sure what I want to see. When I do go I usually very much enjoy.
Music	Love it. Anything from Trad Folk, Jazz, Rock and Roll, Eels, Beatles, what can I say, Elceltic tastes - CDS prove it. Kids can't understand it. EXCEPT I cannot like club music
Gigs	Blues festivals. Theres an excellent one every year in Cumbria and one starting in Carlise
Pubs	Can't afford to drink out much. Tend to entertain at each others houses. Suppose you could almost say :'come dine with me' except that its always the same people
Clubbing	definitely say that I don't go there much these days.
Newspapers and magazines	,, the guardian, but nowadays just the local
Books	Definitely, crime novels, a bit of romance - not too much and those about caring
TV	not many really, I suppose if honest, eastenders (alomost could be addicted) but don;t always watch.
Watching sport	HATE IT
Playing sport	Not able
Hobbies	Gardening, Love sailing, (no boat now), reading. A big passion would be a magical ability to do everything that I can do now when I was 20 - how about you?

My hopes and dreams

In ten years I see myself	Definitely, RETIRED
Who would I invite to a dinner party?	My closest friends, but if they were unavailable, then it would =have to be Jonathon Ross, Jules Hollland, and Ginger Rogers (Drummer- in case you dont know)
My ideal date	Someone who might understand my warped sense of humour
What would I never, ever give up?	My kids, they are precious!!
If I had to give a speech on a subject I was passionate about ...	Drugs, I need to give you all the information to decide for yourselves ( incidentally, all my kids tried everything available - none addicted or taking now)
If I could visit anywhere in the world at any time in history	It used to be medieval. Women!!! Think now it maybe woule be the crinolene dress era cause I fance trying out those dresses
