These are some of the words that came up in my primary school spelling tests back in the 1970s (OK, "sexy" probably didn't)

I recently discovered MidsummersEve after languishing for several fruitless months on a far inferior website - where typical match criteria included "do you think washing up should be shared 50/50?" and "do you like Macdonalds?". It stopped short of listing "trailer park" as a potential venue for a first date, but only just.

OK, random brain dump now follows. I'm just going to close my eyes and type.

I tend NOT to be attracted to women who think they are stunning looking or those who can't even get out of bed without applying several layers of makeup. Much more attracted to a "girl next door" type of person (if there actually WERE a girl living next door, my problems would be solved). That's not to say I don't rate physical appearance - but an everyday natural look does much more for me than any glossy magazine nonsense. I can see that this line of thought is going to land me in hot water.

You will need a naughty glint in your eye(s) and enjoy kissing. A lot.

I'm not a sports fan, so anybody who would normally wear a football shirt on a first date should probably move on... (sorry, there's me thinking I'm on that other dating site again - probably not applicable here). I have, however, recently taken to indoor climbing. Just incase you're partial to being dangled on ropes by people you barely know.

I tend to struggle with profiles (and therefore their owners) that contain the word "bubbly".

I don't really pigeon-hole people into "creative" or "science" types, as these websites often encourage - it's a pointless excercise and I comprise a good dose of both. (Subtext - I might possibly be attracted to slightly nerdy women.)

Oh, and you'd need to be entirely happy listening to rubbish jokes and silly voices. And you will absolutely, positively, definitely have to come up with some sort of photograph (or at least a police artist's sketch) if you'd like to exchange emails.
