Here's something just for starters - I have been known to be warm and funny and sensitive and caring and even quick witted when the mood takes me. I could say I'm a fantastic cook and never been known to have a bad hair day but I only exaggerate when the situation really calls for it! So honesty compels me to admit the last two qualities - well you would have to make your own mind up on them!

As I'm not a bunny boiler, you can be sure I'm not looking for an axe man who hates his mother! I could list loads of qualities that I would appreciate, as indeed I'm sure you could too - but that would take for ever. Enough for now to say if you are a people person, who wants to laugh with someone more in 2010 than in 2009, we may just have something in common.

Cooking	Love food - don't always enjoy cooking it but sometimes I do!
Shopping	Not the sort of woman who wants to shop with a man in tow.
DIY	Limited DIY skills but if you're interested in my abilities in that area, I would be slightly concerned.
Housework	Housework is not my favourite pastime but I have no cleaner so of course it has to be done.
Dining out	I eat out - doesn't everybody?
Movies	Don't go to the cinema that often.
Theatre	Go to theatre fairly frequently.
Music	I like many different styles of music from jazz to rock to classical.
Gigs	Last gig I went to was Mr Michael Buble which was fantastic.
Pubs	Local pub is a friendly place and yes I go sometimes.
Clubbing	Can safely say that clubbing does not appeal any more. Didn't appeal that much before.
Newspapers and magazines	No time for newspapers - listen to the news instead.
Books	Too many to list. Anything by Anthony Trollope to something like Bridget Jones.
TV	Don't watch soaps.
Watching sport	Sport is a bit of a turn off for me except show jumping.
Playing sport	Not really sporty.
Hobbies	More than a passing interest in photography. Walk regularly as I have canine companions who demand it. Good for me too.

My hopes and dreams

In ten years I see myself	Alive.
Who would I invite to a dinner party?	Bill Bailey for laughs, Donald Sutherland - he was so hot in Klute - and still is and maybe Anthony Trollope because I love his books so much. So no Mother Theresa for me.
My ideal date	Do you know anyone who has Bill Bailey's sense of humour and looks like a younger Donald Sutherland? No neither do I so ideal would have to be someone real and available!
What would I never, ever give up?	I can't even imagine living without canine companionship. Mine make me laugh and give so much joy that the muddy paw prints become a fact of life.
If I had to give a speech on a subject I was passionate about ...	My soapbox could include bigotted attitudes to others less fortunate or discrimination against different races and cultures,
If I could visit anywhere in the world at any time in history	Too much choice. Would love to visit Borneo to see Orang Utans, the Galapagos islands, Yellowstone Park in winter, Nepal and India and loads more. More interested in the present than some point in history.
If I had a million pounds to give to charity	I wouldn't be just one charity - so many worthy causes, it would be too difficult to choose so I would have to divide it.
My "and finally" section ...	Not much left except my shoe size .... and maybe what I ate for dinner.
