67 going on 47, I am now retired from full time work and looking forward to having more time to myself to travel, visit family and friends etc. I certainly don't intend to grow old gracefully!!!

I absolutely LOVE music (all sorts), the sunshine, being a lady that lunches, picnics, live shows, London, putting the world to rights with good friends over a bottle or 3 of vino and sitting in my garden with a good book (when I get time)!!!

I am fiercly independent, always pay my own way and like my own space, but I love my family and friends and would do anything for them.

I want to do some serious travelling over the next few years, I fancy China, Australia, Canada, Italy, USA - it would be good to have a travelling companion.

It would also be nice to make more friends, even with people from different parts of the country (I don't mind driving), both male and female to get a different perspective on life. If I meet a new 'love of my life' along the way, then that would be the icing on the cake!!
