I've been on the site a year now and as well as making some really good friends I've met a wonderful man who I'm really happy with.

I can be shy until I get to know people but in general I'm quite a confident person. I work in Admin, in a job that I hate, and live alone with 2 daft cats.

I hope to set up my own business practising alternative therapies within the next few years (my pipe dream) I enjoy studying and have completed a diploma in Indian Head Massage and my Reiki 2 Degree. Next up is either reflexology or hypnotherapy. I am also interested in crystals and most things spiritual.

I'm vegetarian and a fussy eater though saying that I am 'cuddly' and enjoy eating out (mostly English, Spanish and Italian) Chocolate is my weakness!!

My clubbing days are over (through choice!) but I enjoy going to the pub or having a good chat over a bottle of wine. I also enjoy reading (mostly lighthearted 'chick' lit these days), days out, shopping trips, seeing different places, cinema, bowling, genealogy, museums, theatre, concerts etc. Infact almost anything that doesn't involve exercise. I am a member of a gym but I'm not very well acquainted with it. I do enjoy swimming and the odd short walk though.

I no longer have essentials, so, although I appreciate hugs etc please let me know you've sent them!!

 

I've met a great man off here and I'm very happy with him but new friends are always welcome!

I'm not very good at replying to messages (although I always get there in the end) so would prefer now to chat to people who want to meet up in person.

My weekends tend to be taken up but I'm always looking for something to do on a weeknight and occasionally make the weekend meets.

I would preferably like to meet people who live close enough to meet up on a regular basis for cinema, bowling, coffee, nights in or whatever. People around my age would be great but please don't be put off if not.

A local 'diet buddy' would also be good as I need to lose some weight but lack motivation. We could spur each other on. I've just started a new diet and I'm finding it tough!
