Who am I, I ask myself, well I am a person who loves to play with my grandson, and see the smile and joy on his face when I visit, the warmth of his hugs when I am leaving. To feel the rain on my face and the wind in my hair, to shed a tear with friends, and to laugh out loud when my dog tries to amuse me. So I believe that I care for life, and the things in that life that become, and are dear to me.Most of my friends see me as a joker who tries to make them laugh, and some see me as a pain and say I should have a wooden spoon. My sense of humour is sometimes juvenile so I am told, it's probably because working with young children you see things through their eyes. I am not a native of the Peak District, I started life in Kingston in Surrey and gradually often through fate moved slowly towards this wonderful place which I am in love with...
for fun:
Love walking in the countryside, visiting old buildings such as stately homes, cathedrals and industrial heritage. Like a good film that makes you laugh or cry. Quite like the theatre. Love driving fast when possible.
my job:
Look after a small school IT and website.(part time.)
favourite hot spots:
Would love to walk on the beach watching the sun go down, and then go to a nice restaurant to finish the day. Love tea- coffee shops.Cornwall and the Lakes are England at their best. Sorrento on the Amalfi coast is my dream.
favourite things:
My music is rock, ballads, jazz some classical. I like most foods continental and oriental, most favourite is a good English roast. Like to read or watch most tv in front of a good log fire when the weather is gloomy.Also enjoy gardening.

Do like reading biographies of politicians a good insight to what makes them tick. Bill Bryson must be my favourite modern author but there are many others that I enjoy.Some of my favourite films up till now are The Bourne Supremacy (all three,)Taken,Atonement,On Golden Pond and Notebook.These are the ones most in my mind at this time.
