My hobbies and interests

Cooking	I love Cooking. I love french food and generally am adventurous about all types of food. I love buying lovely ingredients and trying new things . Can go a bit OTT in a French or Italian food market! I love the food of the far east too,fresh fish..............yum
Shopping	I am a woman and naturally I can do shopping however it is more fun in other countries and browsing is fun . I am not really kept gripped for very long just slogging up and down the same old shops in the average high street. I like a nice little market town or London ,Paris maybe an-art deco market or New York........
DIY	Can paint inside and like choosing the colours and style but DIY - not really.
Housework	Interested in having a nice comfortable and bright home but definately not houseproud. Not a slob and like things decent but can be easily distracted away from housework and am a past master at fitting all the necessary boring stuff in so that I can go out to play!
Dining out	I do love to eat out and do this often. I cannot list favourite foods-too many! Like good quality and tasty though rather than pile it high. Love French food and all those wonderful fresh ingredients. Love sea food .
Movies	Like films ,broad range but like a story or a plot that I can follow!
Theatre	love theatre and any live performance from a two hander to a massive production . Enjoy musical theatre. have a wide taste in entertainments honed by going to Edinburgh Festival ,Broadway and London theatres and local productions .
Music	Really eclectic taste from Jazz to classical . enjoy modern too because of dancing ceroc
Gigs	Love live music but probably prefer a smaller venue like a jazz bar. wouldn,t mind giving glastonbury a go though.
Pubs	Pubs are much better now that you can breathe the air
Clubbing	TBC
Newspapers and magazines	When the mood takes me ,telegraph ,times, mail . very time consumming ! I like to keep up with the news though.
Books	I enjoy a story and not too complicated plot! Enjoy Alexander McCall Smith especially the Scotland Street Stuff - very humourous ,especially if you know Edinburgh and its folk. also Ian Rankin, Anita Brookner and if I feel brave Val McDairmid- bit scarey though!
TV	Watch TV, drama ,some series , love poirot, taggart mock the week, not the nine o,clock news and sometimes watch some complete rubbish! Can take it or leave it
Watching sport	Not generally although I can get interested in events , tennis,olympics and world cups. I have always been around people who enjoy sport and so I dont mind most sports watching.
Playing sport	I don,t play any sports these days- that I am aware of!!
Hobbies	I have done lots from horse riding ,dancing ,skiing to soft furnishing but I would say that for the past few years I have spent my spare time (and money) on hols, travel and trips. I have recently started to learn to play bridge which I am enjoying.
