Keefys (55) from South Yorkshire

I'm originally from the South East, but via 18 months in Derbyshire I'm now settling down in Doncaster. I'm an IT manager for the NHS, a big change from my previous nomadic existence as a freelance IT contractor. In June 2010 I bought my own place again, so I now have somewhere that I can call home once more. I'm now settled in the East Midlands/South Yorkshire, I love the area and the people.

I'm independent and self sufficient, I don't need looking after as I'm perfectly capable of cooking, cleaning, ironing and all of the other mundane stuff. I love live entertainment such as classical music, theatre, particularly comedy and dance productions although I'll try most things. I also like the outdoors, an avid walker often getting back to the Peak District for my hills fix. I'm not really a pub and nightclub person, I would prefer a nice meal out at a country pub or restaurant.

Local friends would be nice, somebody to go walking with or to share an evening at the theatre. Finding that one special person would be brilliant.
