I love writing, talking about what I'm doing and hearing from other people, discussing ideas, thoughts and feelings on a one-to-one basis, finding out whether we agree or disagree, whether we understand one another.
I'm intelligent, sensitive, quietly unconventional, rather nervous especially in unfamiliar situations, and easily stressed when under pressure.
I have a degree in philosophy; and worked in a Montessori nursery school for 9 years before being bullied out of my job by a new owner. I am back doing voluntary and agency work now, and looking for a permanent job.
Some things I like: walking in the countryside (5-7 miles) or just by the sea, singing, reading, writing and drawing, listening to music (early music, folk, New Age etc), watching children's television (I love Wallace and Gromit and Shaun the Sheep!), visiting museums and other places of interest, holidaying in Tirol, Austria.
 

Idealistically, I'd love to find a male friend, someone to cuddle, someone who could help me learn to relax, enjoy myself more, and take life a bit less seriously.
Realistically, I know how unlikely this is, and I'm happy to hear from anyone who likes a good conversation, male or female.
