Kalypso (62) from Oxfordshire

I am a well educated, adventurous Londoner now living between Oxford and Croatia. I have not pursued a conventional career and, having just finished a refurbishment project in Croatia, am looking for another occupational opportunity. I therefore have plenty of time to indulge my interests i.e. going out to the theatre, cinema, restaurants, visiting friends and reading which is my main past-time. I go the gym regularly and enjoy keeping fit. I am also very keen on boating and should like to spend more time on the water especially in the Adriatic. I have graduated in modern languages and classics and am currently learning Croatian. I believe myself to be a lateral thinker and cannot bear bigots or insular minds.

I have been married and lived in South America. I then divorced and returned to London where I opened a garden centre which was fun. I have had several long-term relationships and am now looking for another one!

I should like to meet a like-minded man who is independent of means and spirit. Like me he should enjoy travelling and new experiences of all kinds. Whilst I enjoy going out with girl-friends I do find that social life is rather limited without a partner and I should much prefer to give parties, bbqs etc. with male moral support!
