I like to think I'm one of the "good guys",who knows how to treat a lady how she likes to be treated!
I live in West Berkshire,and work as an scientific instrument technician.
My interests include fast cars,and even faster motorcycles,music,especially if it's live(from late 50s rock & roll to Robbie!),and I'm looking for someone to inspire me enough to pick up my guitar again and relearn how to play it.I like to be near water,and just adore spectacular sunsets.Most of all I would like someone to grow old disgracefully with me!!!

Like most of you,I would like to meet someone I could trust,and share the good times with.Someone with a wicked sense of humour,and with a bit of a sense of adventure.

My hobbies and interests

Cooking	Can cook when I have a reason to,in fact quite enjoy it when there's someone to share it with.
Shopping	When it's stuff for myself,I usually know exactly what I want and just go for it,but I'm quite happy to come along and carry the bags for you,but please don't ask me "Does my bum look big in this?"
DIY	Have been known to do the odd job around the house.
Housework	Try to keep the place clean and tidy,but in no way fanatical,there are better things to be done!
Dining out	Yes please - especially a Sunday roast.
Movies	Occassionally,but only for something special.
Theatre	Not really my thing,but I'd give it a try.
Music	Just love late 50s rock & roll,60s stuff and the likes of Dire Straits,Meatloaf,Eric Clapton etc.Guitar music,the only thing that stops me being a good guitarist is a complete lack of natural talent!
Gigs	Just love live music from pubs,local venues to stadiums - as long as it's good.
Pubs	A pub by water is great,especially if there's boating activity to watch.
Clubbing	No,not any more!
Newspapers and magazines	A Saturday paper lasts me all week.
Books	At the moment don't have much time for books,usually read short articles,maybe when/if I get more free time.
TV	Not too much to interest me,but I do like the CSI type programmes,and quite enjoy Master Chef!
Watching sport	Has to be motorsport,and then mainly motorcycle racing - MotoGP & Superbikes.
Playing sport	Nothing competive,but enjoy a bit of cycling,swimming and walking,but not necessarily all at the same time!
Hobbies	Apart from those already mentioned,have recently taken an interest in Geocaching(a form of treasure hunting).

My hopes and dreams

In ten years I see myself	Idealy living in the sun,the Canary Islands hold a great attraction especially Tenerife & Gran Canaria,but it would need a big lottery win!
Who would I invite to a dinner party?	John Lennon,Mike Hailwood and Mark Knoffler.
My ideal date	Candlelight dinner in a restaurant by a river following a stroll along the bank watching a spectacular sunset.
What would I never, ever give up?	My car,without it I,d be tottally isolated,it would be like giving up the freedom to live,though I hope I would be sensible enough to know when I'm no longer fit to drive and then to give it up,
If I had to give a speech on a subject I was passionate about ...	Consideration for others.(Selflessness.not selfishness!)
If I could visit anywhere in the world at any time in history	Canary Islands,for me the (almost) perfect climate,now please!
If I had a million pounds to give to charity	RNLI & cancer research.
