Fun, intelligent, very energetic, confident, with a very good sense of humour. Love people, however they are presented - friendliness costs nothing, interest in them ditto. I'm a very good listener, love to cook, and sharing that is lovely too, with the right person. Negatives? Er...taking the Fifth on that one!

Been lucky to spend quite a bit of time visiting France in the past. I love the culture, the lifestyle, the food and wine (obviously!). The countryside is also very mportant to me, love walking/hiking very much, enjoying the views, sights and sounds. Unfortunately, don't get to do that often enough - would ideally like to meet someone who enjoys that too.

I value very much trust, honesty, compassion, understanding, caring, working hard, and, importantly, thinking outside the box, all of which would be reciprocated. Don't understand people who take themselves too seriously.

Equally happy in my walking gear and boots, or glamming it up a bit for a night out - but definitely not a San Tropez kinda girl! Not afraid of tackling DIY jobs (Question: Why do things break/fall apart/leak in multiples of 3?! All answers will be dealt with in the strictest of confidence!).

My eldest son is married, mortgaged and produced a beautiful daughter and son. My youngest son is coming up to 17 and lives with me.

Music tastes range from Eagles to Robbie, Fleetwood Mac to to Snow Patrol, Phil Collins to Coldplay...and lots in between (why didn't I just type 'diverse'? ). Enjoy live concerts - Eagles, Eric Clapton, David Gray were all great - saw Take That too - ooooh!
Keen on excercise and healthy eating by no means a fanatic, but if you're into Burger King or McDonald's, forget it!
