I'm pretty straightforward, WYSIWYG. I happened upon MSE when I retired and moved to Berkshire to be near family. Trying to establish a new social life isn't easy after 20 odd years in the same place. The friendship element appealed and I've met some really nice people... guys and gals ... who've become good friends. I enjoy going to meets and I organise my fair share ... for me it's the best way to meet people and socialise.
You'll find me popping in and out of the threads when I think I've got something useful to add, but mainly drop in here for a bit of a giggle.
Although chronology has brought me to the ranks of 'senior citizen' my mind and heart are still lagging behind! I try to live in the here and now... and enjoy every minute, whether that's getting out and about or simply enjoying quiet times ..
