I enjoy walking, swimming, cooking, reading and going out for meals and the occasional drink. I also enjoy holidays abroad. I retired very recently and have four grown-up children and seven grand-children which are very much part of my life.
I'm fairly shy, I'm a very genuine straight forward, caring person. I'm also told quite often that I look younger than my age.
I have a good life although I sometimes get lonely and would like to have someone with whom I could share the simple pleasures in life.

I am looking for someone that likes family life and is looking for companionship. I would ideally like to meet someone who enjoys similar activities and will not be put off by the fact that I am a bit shy and it can take a little while to get to know me. It is worth the effort!
