About me

I am a serial monogamist... I have had two serious attempts at the dateing/mateing process... and thus am widowed (till death did us part) and divorced (till debt did us part:-(). However 'ya gotta get back in the process' so maybe 3rd time lucky but looking for staying power this time (...or just a random cyber-giggle, I dont do one night stands in the physical world but am always game for a random cyber-laugh :-)).

I used to be a self-employed IT Consultant but am currently studying again / reinventing myself and could possibly do with some company / tlc whilst doing so. I am socially classless and free but being in between consultancies I am financially a bit bargain basement at the moment. However if you can tolerate me for an e-chat or a coffee whilst I'm cruising on the runway then maybe we can fly high together later/rsn :-)

When productive I am an Information Analyst and when not I'm into Multimedia, Music and Meditation (balancing mind, body and spirit by focusing on balance+calm, sensuality+beauty and peace+love). I'm caring/sensitive to others needs and like a laugh. I love the company of women and children.

- My Uncle Jeremiah (a smoker!) who died of lung cancer 16-04-2008 aged 74,
- My mom Mary (a smoker!) who died of lung cancer 16-04-1994 aged 64.
- My Aunties Madge (a smoker!), Bridie, Joan (a smoker!), Madge, Kitty who all died of various cancers between 1996 and 2005.

... and tomorrow (1/May/2008) my final willpower test arrives... my 5ciggies a day at long last has to go to 0!, even though I love the nasty things... my parents generation didnt know they were committing slow suicide, we do...time to stop!

I worked out that on 40aday I was having 1 every 15mins, so I did 1 every 30mins which was 20aday, then I did 10aday which was 1 every hour, now 1 do 1 every 2hours which is 5 a day (and stop fter the 5th). I went to the local chemist/pharmacy and got breathalyzed for carbon monoxide and he told me that on 5aday I am registering as a non smoker, so I dont need nicorette gum as i am just psychologically addicted... so get a life and find something else to suck on sez I to me :-)

So why am I babbling on about this? Well:
1. I'm just back from my Uncles wake and thinking 'there but for the grace of God go I'.
2. My 8months of binary chopping 40/20/10/5/? expires tomorrow and ? has to be replaced with 0!
3. If I say to myself that I'm going to do something difficult then I might do it... but what i need to do is to have someone say 'nah your not going to make it mate' and then I go into 'badger locked onto victim' mode... either the badger dies or the victim dies but those jaws are not coming unlocked for anything less than a bolt cutters. So please offer me words of discouragement because that will kick my sheer-bloodymindedness / stubborness into action and I will then have the resolve to prove you wrong :-)
