I'm a single , professional, 41 year old man with no ties. I'm rather a quiet person, but once you get to know me I have rather a wicked sense of humour. I enjoy my own company to a certain extent, but sometimes I crave the company of others! I'm quite clever and academic with 2 University degrees and I do enjoy intellectual conversation.

Jobwise I work as a Planning Officer in Local Government.

My hobbies and interests include the following :

Music - I'm a member of a local amateur operatic society, local choral society, and also a small chamber/madrigal choir.
Outdoors - I go walking in Derbyshire at least once or twice or month on Saturdays/Sundays. I'm a member of a local and national walking group. I go away on weekends walking to the Lake District, North Wales, North Yorkshire etc. Longer trips to Scotland and abroad.
Travelling - I enjoy visiting foreign countries, very often using budget airlines and staying no longer than 24- 48 hours.
Other social activities - I like going to the cinema, theatre, concerts, meals out with friends etc.

Finally I believe I am an honest, humble and compassionate person with a heartful of love to give to the right person!
