When bribed or threatened my friends describe me as hopelessly romantic,understanding and easy to talk to, reliable and considerate, caring and kind with an ability to make people laugh and old-fashioned manners - perfect really (ha, as if!!). Likes:- ladies who behave like ladies, the beach, walking, reading, driving, theatre, dining out (Chinese, Indian and English - under-rated I think).Dislike:- liars and dishonest people, rainy days and Mondays (whoops, that's the Carpenter's song!!), cleaning cars, mowing lawns!! Music taste is very varied - everything from (some) clasical, through Matt Munro and rock (Yes, Curved Air, etc) to Gloria Estefan / the Miami Sound Machine and the Ibiza sound (is that 'garage', 'house' or some other part of my property???) 

Ladies who like to be treated like ladies and who love the thought of walks on the beach as the sun comes up (or goes down) whilst talking about anything and everything. Where good manners in a man are appreciated and not seen as old fashioned. Apart from that - have no set criteria - we are all unique and do not slot conveniently into set categories, do we?
