Hello there. Pleasure to make your acquaintance. My name is John and I’m an English chap thirty years in standing. And having finally reached thirty, it’s high time I found a nice girl to entertain.
I think I am fairly well spoken, smartly dressed with a pleasant gentlemanly manner. I'm quite laid back and most accommodating to many circumstances. I can be quite morbid and have a dark sense of humour bordering on the bizarre. Have to admit to having a thing for tweed and cravats, also subscribe to the chap haha! I should admit also that I am a rather quiet person by nature.
I enjoy going to museums or galleries, wandering around London finding new places to wreak havoc in. I have an old Morris Traveller which is great for drives in the country, picnics or car shows (preferably all three!)
Books, oooh well poetry(Thomas, Poe, Baudelaire) George Orwell, and a massive helping of history flavoured with affairs of military order as well as Kafka, Dante etc.
Music? Well, I love the 60’s, Beatles, Smiths, Hendrix, Weller, Morrissey, The Jam, classical, Opera, big band, indie, britpop and alternative to name but a few. Actually rather an eclectic taste all-round. Also collect vinyl.
Film, foreign and independent, lots of French and Korean titles with some good British thrown in. I should mention Amelie, Withnail, Oldboy, La vie en rose amongst others. I adore classic black and white films with Bogart and Cagney or Terry Thomas.
What am I looking for? It would be great to meet someone different, not afraid to be themselves. Someone who has read thus far and would like to get to know this intriguing character, as I can tell you most assuredly it would not be something to regret!
