I am petite, blonde, with a bubbly personality. I enjoy dancing - Le Roc, which is a form of jive and am currently learning ballroom/Latin American. I am not a sporty person, but can watch a variety of sports on tv. My passion, however, is Formula 1 motor-racing- I never miss a qualifying session or a race! I also enjoy walking and exploring places - being particularly interested in its' history. I like to listen to a variety of music, anything from classical to rock - the car radio or cd player is normally on!

I trained as a secretary (all those years ago!), then after several office jobs, I went for a complete career change and became a live-in housekeeper. I did this for about twelve years, but now I am self-employed and work as a daily housekeeper from my home.

It would be great to meet a long-term partner, someone with that special chemistry.

My hobbies and interests

Cooking	Yes, I can cook! Mainly I cook simple meals - roasts, pasta dishes etc. Enjoy mild/medium curries, not a lover of Oriental foods. I have a sweet tooth, so love puds, but try not to indulge too often!
Shopping	Shopping, mmm, well if that refers to general/clothes shopping, I am not a great lover - is that unusual in a woman?! I enjoy browsing now and then, but I quickly become bored!
DIY	Not a diy person, but am quite practical and will have a go at simple jobs myself.
Housework	Well I am a housekeeper! So yes, I am neat and tidy and like to be up to speed with the chores as much as time allows.
Dining out	I enjoy eating out, but don't actually do it a great deal. I would tend to choose a dish which I would not cook at home, I like a variety of foods, so whatever caught my eye on the menu.
Movies	I like comedy, musicals, romcom, adventure and thrillers. Quite enjoy an old black and white movie.
Theatre	Musicals - something normally that's uplifting. However, I did watch a ballet for the first time recently and absolutely loved it!
Music	Love a variety of music - classical, swing, rock & roll, popular. Grew up with "glam rock", and still love a lot of that music even today. As I enjoy dancing, something I can jive, waltz or foxtrot to is also great!
Gigs	I occasionally go to see live bands. Not a huge fan of any current bands, but enjoy listening to a wide range of music.
Pubs	Don't go to pubs very often and then it's to eat!
Clubbing	No clubs for me now!
Newspapers and magazines	Don't read a newspaper regularly, but I like to keep up with the news and generally watch tv news programmes every day.
Books	I read occasionally - historical novels, or whatever catches my eye.
TV	I watch some tv - history and geography programmes, the news. For amusement, Have I got news for you. No soap operas!
Watching sport	Can watch a variety of sports, but Formula 1 is my passion.

Hobbies	Would love to get into amateur astronomy - Prof Brian Cox rocks!

In ten years I see myself	Being part of a couple would be good!

My ideal date	I think you mean "your ideal date"! Dinner, dancing and romance.
What would I never, ever give up?	Good health, which I currently enjoy is the obvious answer. Apart from that, my love of music and dance.
If I had to give a speech on a subject I was passionate about ...	Dancing and how it can transform your life.
If I could visit anywhere in the world at any time in history	Tudor England - how wonderful if I could find out about the real Henry VIII.
If I had a million pounds to give to charity	Research into dementia, childhood diseases.
