I work as a PA in the NHS, a job i love. I have two grown up daughters who i am very close to. I am a cheerful person who enjoys a laugh. I enjoy getting out and about shopping, for a drink, for a walk at the beach or in the country, to the cinema, to see a show, live music, comedy clubs, anything really. I also like nights in with friends and a bottle of wine and a good film. I am big reader and read a whole variety of books. Im a fan of music, particularly live music.

I would like to find someone who enjoys life and see what happens. I do not have a particular ideal man but he must be fun, honest and young at heart.

My hobbies and interests

Cooking	favourite dishes to cook are risotto, paella, moroccan chicken, good old fashioned shepherds pie but enjoy trying out new dishes
Shopping	Love shopping, particularly with my daughters
DIY	manage to hang pictures, put up curtains and blinds but wouldn't be safe to build an extension!
Housework	Like a clean and tidy house but not obsessive
Dining out	I love eating out and am slowly working my way round all the restaurants in Lincoln, of which there are many
Movies	the last film i saw at the cinema was Toy Story 3D! The last film i watched at home was Avatar. Have lots of favourite films, Hotel Rwanda (think everyone should see that), Love Actually, Shawshank Redeption etc
Theatre	I wanted to go to see an open play at Lincoln Castle recently, picnic etc but had no one to go with!
Music	Like all sorts of music from Queen to Mumford and Sons
Gigs	Enjoy live music very much whether down the local pub or at a large gig or a festival.
Pubs	Enjoy going to the pub as part of a group or for a quiet meal and a drink for two.
Clubbing	I am not a big clubber, but do like it from time to time. Not great at staying up till 4 anymore!
Newspapers and magazines	I read the Daily Mail mail most days.
Books	Am a definite book worm, always have a book on the go, read modern novels and biographies mostly.
TV	I enjoy TV but don't sit in front of it for hours on end tend to Sky+ what i want to watch and ignore it the rest of the time.
Watching sport	I am not a big sports fan but patriotic so enjoy England games etc.
Playing sport	I no longer take part in any sports.
Hobbies	I love walking, and go to the Lakes every year with friends. I am hoping to take a photography course in September as would like to take better pictures.

My hopes and dreams

In ten years I see myself	I would like to be living in my forever house, having moved quite a lot recently. Would like to think that i will have grandchildren. Taking regular holidays in the sun and have someone special to enjoy it all with.
Who would I invite to a dinner party?	Freddie Mercury as Queen were my favourite band, Nelson Mandela as i admire him very much and my dad because he would love to meet Nelson Mandela but i don't think he would be so impressed by Freddie!!!
My ideal date	I think that is something we would agree between us but a drink and something to eat in a nice pub and a chance to chat would be good.
What would I never, ever give up?	My love for my daughters - they are amazing.
If I had to give a speech on a subject I was passionate about ...	Fostering and adoption. I was adopted myself as a baby and had a great experience. I have also been a foster carer in the past and found it a challenging but rewarding experience for myself and my family.
If I could visit anywhere in the world at any time in history	i need to think about this
If I had a million pounds to give to charity	A children's charity that helped children in both this country and abroad.
