Trying to describe what I'm like is the difficult bit. I have a very good sense of humour and love to laugh, even if it is at myself when I do something stupid. I know I'm not the best looking girl in the world, but am a great believer that beauty is only skin deep, it's what's inside that matters.
Work wise, I'm an administrator in the Repairs Team for a Housing Association that provide sheltered housing for the elderly nationwide which can be pretty busy but I work with a great team of people.
I come from a normal working class background and have 4 sisters and I brother so we make up quite a crowd when we gather together, which unfortunately, isn't often enough these days.
I like to think I'm pretty intelligent and can hold a good conversation. I love to meet people and get to hear about their lives and what makes them tick and probably, like most females, I'm just plain nosey.
Initially I'm looking to make friends and if something develops from that friendship I would be delighted.
I'm not into 'one night stands'- nothing good comes out of them, friendship is far more important.
I would like to meet 'Mr Wonderful'of course, don't we all? I know he's out there somewhere, he's just damn elusive. There is a saying that we all have a soul-mate, its just a matter of our paths crossing so I guess I'll just have to carry on trying - never give up and who knows he just might be looking for me as well!!!
Of course I would like him to be kind and considerate, that goes without saying. A millionaire would be nice of course but 'dream on Jan'. Seriously, I'm looking for an ordinary, kind, loving man who is not afraid to show affection and his true feelings and likes to feel wanted and loved in return. If all this drivel hasn't put you off please get in touch - I'm not that scary really!!!
