Jandales (51) from West Yorkshire

5ft 3" pint-sized woman with good hips and legs. Classic, sometimes elegant dress sense but much prefer my twenty year old faded Jeans. Presentable when I need to be, but I much prefer being free of fuss. Although I do rather like having my nails done as a treat. I work mostly from home refurbishing costume and textiles. I also do some other freelance work (sometimes it's difficult trying to juggle it all and sometimes leads to busy periods, then days spent idling in the villages and dales of my picturesque surroundings) I have a background in fashion and photography. I am a keen hill walker and picnic addict. Not really one for pubs and clubs. A bit stultifying and too much noise! At home there's just me, the very vocal cat,the radio, and an addiction to good cheese and biscuits. Having come out of a relationship that was interesting while it lasted (traded in for a younger model. Dear me!) I've kept my sense of humour, which is not to everyone's taste. Ah, well, if you're winsome you probably lose some. (Told you so ...)Can I please ask for someone interesting to talk to, not overly political or prone to pontificating, not opinionated or single minded, just nice! Not looking to move in, for a loan, a drinking partner or for a fling. Just someone like me. Bit of company and a light hearted friend. Any takers? Say hello ...

Having relocated after a divorce some years ago I have made some friends in my local area. I stil feel that I need to get out more to keep exploring all those quirky Yorkshire places they keep telling so much about. With a garden on three sides of the house I've discovered the simple joys of gardening again. very rapidly! I also like to cook for friends and go to the theatre and live music events. Time to get to know someone new as I get fed up being alone sometimes. It's not that I mind it, I just think it's now time again for something or someone new. Humans very welcome!The cat can be hilariously entertaining but only does three words and two facial expressions. Yawn.
